How the Coffee Cherry Sorting Process Works

  1. Coffee cherries enter the in-feed hopper.
  2. The vibratory feeder distributes the cherries onto the horizontal belt.
  3. The cherries leave the belt and fall through the optical inspection zone.
  4. Front and rear cameras capture both visible sides. The control system compares each cherry with the selected sorting standard, and ejectors separate the accept and reject streams.
