Don’t bring only a business card. Bring the coffee your team is struggling to sort.
From October 15 to 18, WESORT will be at Cafés de Colombia Expo 2026 in Bogotá. At Booth 2466, visitors can see how optical sorting responds to real coffee materials and discuss a solution based on their own quality standards.
If your harvest includes mixed-ripeness cherries, or your green and roasted coffee lots still require extensive manual inspection, book an appointment with us before the show. Bring representative samples and let the sorting result start the conversation.
Event: Cafés de Colombia Expo 2026
Dates: October 15–18, 2026
Venue: Corferias, Bogotá, Colombia
WESORT Booth: 2466

A catalogue can show machine specifications, but it cannot tell you how a sorter will respond to your coffee variety, harvest condition or defect standard.
That is why WESORT is inviting Colombian coffee farms, washing stations, cooperatives, dry mills, exporters and roasters to bring actual material to Booth 2466.
During an onsite coffee sorting test, our team can review the sample with you, identify the visible differences between accepted and rejected material, run a preliminary sorting program and compare the resulting streams.
You will be able to see what the cameras recognize, which cherries or beans are rejected and where borderline material appears. This is more useful than discussing a general accuracy figure that may not represent your real processing conditions.
Freshly harvested coffee may contain ripe cherries mixed with green, partly ripe, overripe, dark or visibly deteriorated fruit. Leaves and other visible foreign material may also enter the receiving line.
The WESORT coffee cherry color sorter uses a belt-based conveying system designed for moist and rolling coffee fruit. Front and rear cameras inspect both visible sides as the cherries pass through the optical zone.
According to the customer’s samples, the sorting program can be adjusted for visible differences in color, ripeness, shape and surface condition. Focused lighting and automatic viewing-window cleaning help maintain a clear inspection area during operation.
The coffee cherry sorter is not the same as a dry coffee bean machine. Fresh fruit requires its own conveying method, machine layout and sorting configuration.
You may also bring green coffee beans, roasted coffee beans or parchment coffee. Please tell us the material type in advance because different coffee stages may require different feeding and inspection configurations.
Green and roasted beans can be evaluated with the appropriate coffee bean color sorter solutions. Depending on the sample, the target may include discoloration, visible insect damage, wrinkles, cracks, broken beans, quakers, scorched beans or distinguishable foreign material.
Parchment coffee should be evaluated according to its moisture, movement characteristics, defect targets and required capacity. It should not automatically be assigned the same configuration used for either fresh cherries or dry beans.
To make your appointment at Cafés de Colombia Expo 2026 more useful, prepare material that represents your real production rather than a specially selected clean sample.
Please bring or describe:
A representative mixed sample from your normal process.
Clearly separated examples of the coffee you want to accept.
Samples of each category you want to reject.
Borderline cherries or beans that are difficult for workers to classify.
Your normal and peak processing requirements.
The number of grades or output streams you need.
Photos or videos of the current feeding, sorting and downstream equipment.
Contact WESORT before bringing material so we can confirm the appropriate sample quantity, preparation method and whether the exhibition configuration is suitable for the requested test.
The first step is not switching on the machine. It is agreeing on the sorting standard.
A WESORT engineer will review your samples and ask which material belongs in the accepted stream, which material must be removed and how you want borderline pieces handled. The preliminary program can then be prepared around those visible differences.
After the test run, we will inspect the accepted and rejected streams together. The purpose is to understand the practical sorting boundary—not to create a perfect demonstration by quietly removing difficult material beforehand.
We can then discuss:
Actual sorting results depend on coffee variety, material condition, moisture, feeding stability, defect ratio and the customer’s acceptance standard. Final equipment selection should therefore follow representative material testing.
An exhibition can become crowded, and a useful material test requires more time than a quick product introduction.
Booking in advance allows the WESORT team to understand your material before the meeting, confirm whether it can be tested with the displayed configuration and reserve time for a focused discussion.
When requesting an appointment, send us:
This information helps us prepare for the meeting and avoids spending most of the appointment clarifying basic material details.
At Cafés de Colombia Expo 2026, WESORT will focus on a practical question: can the visible differences in your coffee be sorted consistently with the right machine and settings?
Visit Booth 2466 to discuss fresh coffee cherry sorting, green coffee grading, roasted bean quality control, production-line connections and sample-based machine selection.
Bring the material that creates problems in your current process. Show us what your operators accept, reject and debate. We will use those examples to discuss a sorting solution based on your coffee—not a generic demonstration sample.
Book your appointment before Cafés de Colombia Expo 2026 and tell us what material you plan to bring.
